It has been done and a few threads posted about. Search road glide to street glide conversion and you should find some interesting reading about it.

A lot of times when I see these "I want to convert" posts, there always seems to be at least one guy who posts the ignorant reply "Why didn't you just buy one in the first place". I guess some guys just don't get it . . . or they have more money than a desire (or know how) to personally customize what they already have. "Just an observation"

American Bagger had a write up on this conversion a few months ago. It had step by step photos of the conversion. You may want to look into some back issues.

Yeah depending on how much you have done to your current bike as far as mods it might be cheaper than trading in for a new bike and starting all the mods over

One test drive of a Road Glide Custom and I was instantly sold. My curiosity lies with the reason why Street Glide owners want (or wanted) to convert to a Road Glide?

So for someone who like me has never ridden a Road Glide what is it about them compared to a Ultra/streetglide that you like the most? Looks like I may be in the market for something in the next few week since I think I totalled my Ultra Monday.
