I have a 2004 EGC stock 88 except for Mikuni carb SE/ac, SE slip on's, and cam-plate upgrade with SE tapered adj. pushrods. The bike has about 37k mi. on it and has lately developed a woo, woo, woo,woo noise at idle. Not really loud and I have heard this on other bikes. It runs beautifully and I'm not real concerned, Question is: should I be or is this normal and should I be looking at something? Thanks in advance.

 

It's a bit difficult to hear it over the internet! Shouldn't cost anything to call at your local dealer or indy and ask them to express an opinion, by listening to it.

 

maybe its practicing to be a back up singer for the Rondells...but serously..like grbrown said...

 

Check your primary chain. They make some strange noised when out of adjustment. That's all i can think of.
