Default IronBut ride
I am leaving on my first attempt at a Saddle Sore 1000 IronBut ride in 1/2 hour. I am going from Elysburg PA to just past Bristol TN and back. This is going to be rough!

I did it 2 years ago. Its alot of fun and a accomplishment that many can only dream about.

If your on a touring frame your going to be ok. Now on a Dyna or Softail...different story. have done two over 110 miles and one over 1300 miles straight thru and not bad at all.

Just did a couple of those, MN to TN/NC and back. When you stop don't get dim and forget to put your kickstand down. As they say, don't ask me how I know.

Make sure to give us a ride report when you return. Some friends and I are going to ride the Lower Great Lakes 1000 in three weeks.
