Default alarm install question

I do not have one on my 06 ultra....found a guy selling his..he does not have the fob and is parting thing out.

Question:
will his 06 ultra stock alarm work on mine....what does it take to program it? (can I do it myself??)

I see you can get new fobs or should I just go with signal light sequence for on and off? ( that is if you guys say it will work)

thanks!

Selling his thing? You mean he's removing his TSSM for a TSM? The extra S for "security". Yes, have the dealer do the swap and the program.

If you want an alarm system have you considered an after-market one? Will probably be simpler to install. I have a Datatool S4 on my 1990 Glide and am happy with it - comes with immobiliser and two remotes. I don't know if it is available in the USA.

Very simple swap. Do not spend the labor to have the dealer do it. You will need to swap out the tsm for a tssm...takes about 10 minutes. There is a procedure in the DIY forum for marrying the tssm to your bike. Not sure what year they went to a button less FOB, but that will have to be programed at a dealer. That take a few minutes and they should not charge more $20
