My old EVO FLHS would make a chirping sound if the belt got loose. Only heard it under accelleration.

I had to get NEW muffler brackets on my Reinhart's.....Although they were tight as could go...they still allowed the tail pipes to squeek. No squeek with new clamps....
Yes it sounded like a "Chirp"...

I get a chirping sound that sounds like its coming from the right side when I am going over a concrete bridge with concrete medians as someone previously added. WTF is it??? Im glad I read this, I just figured it was something to do with the acoustics of the bridge

I've got the same thing going on. At a little over 6K it is not so much as a chirp as a tinking sound, could be the primary chain adjuster. It is at harder acceleration and only briefly. My guess is the primary chain is beginning to stretch a little.
I'll be changing fluid and checking adj. soon.

One thing also when you install those slip ons I always use a small bead of permatex copper silicone like Rinehart suggests. Most slip ons have slots to aid in the installed I have tracked many chirps to these slots and even find exhaust carbon deposts showing in the area.

Yeah, that. Mine chirped and drove me crazy for a while until I figured out it was a lose belt. Tightned it up to proper tension and was good after that.

Mine chirps too since install of new exhaust system. Still trying to track it down. I want to say it almost sounds like the old Volkswagon beetle exhaust chirping sound(if anyone remembers that sound). I will definately check where the slipons meet the head pipes though.
Keeping an eye on this thread.
