Just about to install these and noticed that there are small plastic rivets in the holes where the hawg shields screw in....stupid question but do I just yank those rivets out with pliers?
hmmm...when i installed my LRS Ultra there were no rivets. Just backed out the fairing screws and separated the fairing a bit, pulled the stock windshield out and secured the LRS shield in. Was pretty straight forward and only took a few min. Maybe the hawg shield is different?
Yes, they just pop right out. I think they may actually spin out, but it has been so long since I took mine out I can't remember. Anyway, they do come out and there will be threaded holes under them.

Exactly. The screws supplied with the Hawg Wings will screw right into those threads. PM me or call if you're still having trouble.
Door panel tool works best, I got a set and didn't care for them but that just my .02 cents. Tighten them too much or get into high winds and they break.
