97 ultra help
i have a problem with my 97 ultra classic , while riding i lose power engine quits and i have no lights . i coast to the side of the road and turn off ignition about a minute later turn ignition back on and bike starts normally seems to happen more often when outside air temp is above 80 degrees any thoughts would be appreciated

Couple things to check. I believe 1997 had a recall on ignition switch. Make sure yours has been done. Check your circuit breaker. Check codes, if you get "CKP/CMP out of range" could be either / or the crank and cam position sensors. Check your battery cable connections, could be a loose ground issue. I would start by pulling the codes first and see what comes up as that will guide you.
