My guess is that your just hearing the sounds more now because of the fairing. Tends to bounce a little noise right at you.

I know what the dealers say, but there is a difference. I had a 2010 Ultra that drove me crazy with the top end noise (~5K miles). I now have a 2011 Limited that is MUCH quieter.
