I installed the Smart Siren II and pager unit on my RK. It took about 30 minutes to do the entire job. Spent another 30 minutes to install the Kuryakyn Panacea tail light and turn signals at the same time.
Installation was easy and straight forward. The pager is married to your bike with a push of a button. The range is suppose to be up to a half mile. The range confirmation signal works for about an hour. I have had good signal inside department stores and large buildings.
Go for it. It is well worth the time and effort for the peace of mind.
Look at the new model (Smart Siren II and Pager Receiver II). Easy to install and both units together total about $125 at Zanottis.
I agree.....simple to install. Just installed mine two days ago.

They installed the original siren and pager on my bike by accident. As soon as I can get it back to the dealer they're going to swap it out and refund the difference.
The old style had the siren and pager as separate units. You could add either/or.
The new unit has the sending unit for the pager in the siren. You MUST have the siren for the pager to work.
I have the smart siren and pager. Easy to relax when your going to be away from your bike for a while. The pager looks cool and flashes a green LED when on. Some people think it is a micro telephone!
