Top speed ??

Keep in mind that the HD speedos are not accurate. What the speedo says vs. real speed are two different things.
My speedo is the opposite of yours. It says I am going over 100 mph when the gps lets me know I am not there yet.
When my speedo if pegged as if I was going 120+mph, I am down there at 109 or so.
If you are going by HD speedo only, you don't really know how fast you are going.

Hey! Those sound pretty neat. I've gotta check that out. Thanks

If a bike(even a stock Harley) will not beat the average car to the next stop light or the bottle neck ahead then something is wrong. I'm talking acceleration not top speed.
This is very true. Back in the 70s I had a couple of muscle cars and learned one thing real fast: don't race a motorcycle.
My Harley is too slow to have a top speed.
My guess is it may be able to get 105, maybe 110 if I really tried. Some of my previous rides I'd still have a few gears to go.
And get this...that 92 mph is probably only 87 or 88 mph. Up around that speedn the speedos are usually off about 4 to 5 mph. Did a little run with mine and checked the speedo against the gps speed, which is very accurate. Speedo said 114, gps told the truth at 108.
'10 street glide, thunder max tuner, PM air cleaner, V&H true duals, carriage works slip ons are the only engine mods as of now....reached 120 for a second. I had to slow down because I didn't think it was the best for the motor sitting at 4300 on the tach. I'm sure someone will say its fine that it will hold but the motor sounded like it was screaming. There wasn't much, if any, left in the bike and it took me a while to get there but it was surprisingly stable, unlike it was the week before at 110-115 it began to wobble a bit. I think it may of been in part to the klock werks windshield, I had a buddy who's did the same thing.
