Wow, and Automatic Compression Release and integrated oil cooler.
>>For 2012, all eight Harley-Davidson Touring models are powered by a Twin Cam 103 engine with Automatic Compression Release and integrated oil cooler. Producing 102 ft. lbs. of peak torque at 3500 rpm, the Twin Cam 103 provides outstanding performance around town and on the open road.<<
Beary
I just rode with a friend to Beale Street who was on his two day old 2012 SG. It was a 103" but had no compression release.
Bit of irony here...my '72 XS1 650 Yama had compression release. [11.5/1 heads, stock, megaphone pipes...w/ kick and 'lectric start, manual cruise control...dang I miss that old Yama...just saying..]
'I'm hoping to get the 110 as part of the Power Pack...if not - and it's just the security & ABS - I'm going to be canceling my order & getting a 2011 model for a better savings.
Looking forward to the rest of the model year 2012 details to see what's really what...[/quote]'
Hope you're not living out there at the Bagram air base in 'scorpion city', but thanks from us all and for whatever the hell you're doing over there.
I was in Kabul for a few months back in...she-ite, ugh...oh yeah, twas '02 I think.
'03 found me in Kuwait {right after I got outta Palestine} ordering a '03 Sporty in Atlanta which soon became a '05 Deluxe. {Time keeps on slipping, slipping...into the future}
Now you keep your head down and get the hades outta there soon.
And, oh yeh...watch out for those ten legged spiders. We used ta put 'em in a fish bowl with the scorpions to see who was the better fighter. Ugh, we didn't have television.

Thanks TB - I'm in Kabul @ Eggers but live in "relative" luxury in a safe house at the moment. May be going to Phoenix for the rest of my time here. Countin' down the days! And 1 more day to find out what HD has in store for the rest of the 2012's!
