For what it's worth..... THe MoCo had their big demo rig set up at local dealership two weeks ago and I took the opportunity to ride one of the new 110's.
I rode a 110" S/E Springer. I must say this it was one of the best LOOKING bikes I've seen come out of the factory! My favorite thing about the bike was the GRIPS when we got back from our 20'ish mile ride. That is not meant to be funny or a jab, the bike had great grips.
As for ride.... well, it was ok, but it certainly was not good or very comfortable.
Power..... [&:] uh.....mmmm..... I was sorely dissapointed! My RG would smoke it up to approx 4500 PRM's. After 4500, it pulls pretty good, but not what I'd consider great.
Admittedly, this was a bone stock 110, and it was a "B" motor, but it was a Screamin Eagle bike..... I would be REALLY pissed if I had sunk a bunch of $$$ into that and still get smoked by a 95" bagger!
Do yourself a huge favor and do plenty of research, there are simple things you can do to 95" and/or 98" builds that will get ya a LOT more, for a LOT LESS!!!!
OK. Ill bite ! How can i do that ? Please explaine how i can get 100 Hp and 100 Tq out of my 95 and still take trips.
Im wanting to do something to mine because it feels like a turttle right now.
WWW.GMRPERFORMANCE.COM or HEADQUARTERS or several other aftermarket folks....personally i think all SE is WAY over-rated....you want power, go to someone who's only business is power...SE is a moco afterthought
Yeah...if you do a search on here it's best to look at the date of the original post. This forum has been around for awhile. What was state of the art 14 years ago might be antiquated now. Some of it's still good info also.
