re chroming??
got a pair of wild pigs that i need to rechrome or replace. ive never had anything rechromed but the wild pigs would be 250.00 to replace. is rechroming an exp process or ????

Lot of places won't re-chrome used exhaust components or they will charge a lot more; the residual carbon can cause some kind of problem with the chromic acid, no matter how clean you get it. Call some shops and see what they say.
