Would be nice to have something newer - guess I'll just get-a-long on my 02 88 for now - at least she can do the speed limit - and she's paid for - I think that is the biggest thing holding me back -

100 % agree - It takes time ( a whole lot of patience and money ) to get the bike to where you like it and as long as it is paid for and you are happy that is what it's all about.

and H-D did a FANTASTIC job hiding that radiator and the water hoses. Can't even tell they are water cooled up close.

Maybe the radiator is in one of the saddle bags, or that "oil cooler" is really filled with water.
