Default 21 wheel what width to buy?

I finally decided what 21/16 wheels I want on my RK05. But I am not sure what width rim to get 3.0, 3.25 or 3.50. As I understand it I can only get a white walled tire in a 90/120 21. I plan to use a innertube to give the tire more width. So what width trim do you recommend and why? Thanks guys.

LkrO. I think its the Veerubber company. Everyone I talked to says do not go with the Veerubber tires.

Mine's a 21x3.25 which was the only width available in the style I got. I think the stock wheel is 3.50. It took a little while to get use to being narrower.

I can get you the 120/21 WWW today! They are in stock at my distributor but will not be fore long. I'd get a 3.5 rim as it will ride better.

I run a 3.5" rim and a 120/70/21 tire.

Not sure what the problem with Vee Rubber is, but if they have the style of tire you want in the width you want, I'd give it a shot. It would be safer than shoving an oversize tube in a small tire, then stretching it to fit a wide rim. Bad idea in my opinion.

I run 3.5" on both my bikes with 21". Im going to get a vee rubber white wall when I get the cash. I haven't heard of any problems with them since the first batch that had dull white on them. From what I'm hearing they are a bright whitewall now

The rims don't come in for about a week or two. But I am going to pick up the 21 front first thing tomorrow. What PSI are all you guys using on your 21's.

I am running the older Vee rubber right now as well. the only "issue" was the antique yellowed white wall. I hit it with some white shoe polish and it looks perfect, but the new ones do have the bright white white wall.

I previously ran a 21x3 rim with a 90/21 white wall on it. It was fine, but there is a nice difference between the 3.5 with the 120 and 3 with the 90/21. On a bagger (I ride a softail) I would definitely do the 3.5. the bike is a lot heavier than a softail.
