To put it another way. If you want a cost effective budget build go 107 and use your jugs and heads. Pick your pipes, cams and intake and just do the top end. Get new pistons, bore the jugs and get the heads worked.
If you're going to go bigger than that and get into the bottom end then go really big or don't bother. I'd be looking at a 117 or a 124.
An upgrade to a 110 is not cost effective for what you get. A 107 will give you near equal performance for a lot less.
I went with an S&S 106" kit and stage II heads - I'm not sure where I'd use more power than I have unless I was making 1/4 mile passes but that's just me... I wouldn't touch the 110", nothing wrong with them, research a proper build with parts that compliment each other regardless of the cubic inches and you'll get the most bang for your buck, ask me how I know!
