Default No idle! 09flhtp

Yesterday headed out on a two day ride.

09FLHTP started the day idling @ 2000rpm. First gas stop of the day she would not idle at all. Started, but have to hold throttle open a little. Ran great down the road, but close the throttle and she would die.
Called the ride for mech. problems and rode home no problem, just don't turn throttle all the way down.

After getting home, reflashed my Power Commander, same chit, Pulled PC, same chit. Called the stealership, can't get me in for 2 weeks. Made an appointment. Found a link that told how to reset the ECM on Fly-By-Wire. Tried it and all seamed to run great. Rode around the yard and a couple miles up the road and back, thought it was fixed. Today fired her up, rode 5 miles and she died coming to stop sign.

Acts as if closing throttle it just shuts off all fuel, maybe bad poteniometer in twist grip? TPS? Maybe heat related as it ran OK after an extended cooldown.

Talked to the local Indy today, he said couldn't tell anything without hooking up to "digital Technition", factory puter.

Any ideas? Would like to get to back up and running and cancel the trip to the dealer.

Not bike poor, geuss I'm riding the FXDL for a while, girls bike!

Pull the codes. Maybe the intake air temp sensor is bad or unplugged?

Try pulling the Power Commander. They go bad sometimes.

See previous link pulled PCV,same chit.Know that Stage 1 with stock ECM would not be right, but should run. Would not idle any differant than the PCV.

Thinking that throttle grip has lost zero, TPS is bad or temp sensor. Fired it up this evening, after setting all afternoon, ran like a champ and idled down to 1000 while I ran her into the shop.

Perplexed, wishing I had my ole Shovel, she only left me stranded when she blew the cases.
