Hi;
I baught a '11 RK and couldn't be happier.However, the handlebar are not bad, but they're approx. 2'' too far stretching my arms. I feel another set would still be too far;any idea?
not 100% sure on dimensions on the '11 RK, can't seem to find the link to stock handlebar sizes at the moment. but I put a set of Heritage classic bars on my wifes '08 and it made them a little taller and a little more pulled back for her, they were just what she was looking for and were only around $70.
No cable changes or wiring needed to be done, so pretty simple swap. I'm sure some one who knows more will be post something shortly.
I will be switching my RKC bars for a set of Heritage bars.
My brother has two buddies who are Harley mechanics so it will just cost me for the bars, Around 70 or 80 bucks I believe.
I just had my dealer install Heritage Style Bars last week, Im 5'9" and they made a huge difference. $80.00 for the bars and 1 1/2 labor charges. Alot of guys on here do it themselves, but Im like Homer Simpson when it comes to working on stuff.
Yes, what "mohawkpan" said (part number too). Had 'em on my '10 Road King and loved them. I think you'll find the description states 3" of pull back on these bars. check 'em out.
