clutch adjustment?

Default clutch adjustment?
im in the middle of a total fluid change and while i have the derby cover off i was looking at clutch adjustment. question is, how are you hold the adjustment nut AND then tighten the jam nut to torque spec? is there a special tool? or is there a way the average joe at home can do it?

Great link... Thanks SH_01FXDWG, I have the book but seeing it done confirms it. I have decided not to pay the insane prices for routine maint. anymore. Worked on cars for years time to start working on my bike for myself now.....

nice video link man. still wanna know how to do it using a torque wrench though...love how he adds the specs but doesnt use a torque wrench...

Too funny, Oil change and clutch adjustment isn't all this dude needs, go to the link so you can blow up to full screen and look at his compensator sprocket, It's shot, he should be doing a video on compensator sprocket and chain replacement.. Mabe I shouldn't pay attention to details..LOL..

yup, doing all i can do myself, with the fluid change pusing $ 80+... ill do anything i can to say coin.

but... the video doesnt show how to do it using a torque wrench....

Won't be EXACT....but you can use a CROWS FOOT socket. (might be a lb. or two off due to the offset.)
