I had the rumble road speakers on my VTX 1800R and they did sound nice, BUT, alot of problems with wiring and it was installed by one of the dealers that sell it not by me. My opinion to much $$$$ for what you get. and lot's of problems with the installation but I guess you know how to hook them up so you will disagree with me.

Steve, Thanks for the comments, but i need to tell you that these speakers run through the Sony Stereo has one of the best sounds i have heard for such a small speaker. Did fimd out that if you get the wire crossed in the back or if you use Amplified Speaker and use the RCA plugs, the sound is very soft with the RCA plugs and a little dissorted with the wires crossed. Running 85 MPH we have no problem hereing the system at all. Let me know if you have any other question and also let us know how u like our web site.

Thanks again,

Tommy

It would be really nice if the pictures on your website were able to be enlarged. I'd like to be able to see the details better.

That's what I thought, but there's only so much you can do to doll up a bolt-on radio system for bikes not designed for radios. It looks functional, but my question is:

Is it mounted with quick-disconnect hardware?

The site may have the info, but I didn't see it.

You would have done better to find the smallest MP3 player with remote control that you could hook into the standard HD hand controls. The CD is nice but alot of us are just using the radio and or MP3 players. It would be much smaller, and the guys around here might take to it a little better. Regardless, nice site and nice try. Hope you guys succeed..

I like the look of the speakers, as they look like passing lamps. But, I would try to mount the CD player unit inside a saddle bag for cosmetic reasons. Of course a remote for volume, track change, etc. would be necessary! Like others said, an MP3 player would be easier to work with. I love the idea of adding tunes to my RKCustom, but the cosmetics hold me back. Good luck to you in your endeavor!
