Red face Road King seat

I have recently gotten a 2012 Road King, ant as we all know, the stock seat is more for looks than comfort. I've been looking at both the Sundowner and the Hammock seats from Harley. I had the Sundowner on my '07 RKC and really liked that seat, could ride all day with no problems. I would appreciate any feedback anyone has about either seat, likes, dislikes, ect.
Thank you guys, this is a great forum.

Hey I just rode an 2012 yesterday and thought that seat was pretty nice. You may just want to think about calling MCC to see if they can do anything to that seat.

Personally, I like the stock seat on the RK Classic. But, the OL wasn't comfortable and we switched to the Sundowner Pillow Top and now she's happy again.

I'm in the same boat you are on a 07 FLHR and the stock seat kills me after 80 miles or so, been looking at the sundowner deep bucket, just havent had time to make it to the stealer and actually sit on one

Have you thought about a Corbin??

retired in 08, three coast to coast with the wife,, On June 29 did my first Iron Butt - 1000 miles in 15 hours 40 min... slept for 5 hours and did 500 miles in 8 hours... to complete the 1500 miles in under 36 hours... Butt and back and shoulders felt great...

Corbin is a Love it or hate it seat.. for me, nothing else matters..

Bought the Hammock seat for my 08' RK. Great seat but the only complaint is that back passenger seems to slide forward. Looking at seat from the side you can tell that it is slightly angled forward. Feels great up front thought. Good Luck......BTW it does cost 5 large from the MC. FT

Another vote for the Corbin saddle. It's firm, like a horse saddle. You don't sink into it, but you also don't get hot spots from a lack of support. I've been using them on every bike for the past 12 years.

I have the Hammock rider and passenger seat on my '10 Ultra Limited, puts me lower and closer to tank than original stock, but it's really comfortable.
I had an '08 RK FLHR and the stock seat on that was a joy!
