Need advice on 95" Big Bore
I just finished up doing a trike conversion on a 2003 UC. The guy has already got a PCIII with USB, S&S 510G cams and some mild headwork. Now, with the extra weight added with the trike conversion, he wants to go to a 95". I have a good discount at the local HD dealership so I can just get the barrels and pistons there at a pretty good price so there wont be any extra down time to have his barrels punched out. My question is, if I just run the cast pistons, should I run the thinner head gaskets on this with these cams or just the stock thickness? The heads were milled but Im not sure how much. If I were a betting man, Id bet they are 84cc knowing the guy who did the headwork and what Ive seen from him in the past. I would just ask the guy who did the work but I dont know for certain that he would remember this specific set of heads and also he works overseas so it may be a while before I heard back from him and the owner of the bike wants to get this done pretty quick. Thoughts?
