Default exhaust question again

So I installed the rinehart true dual exhaust system and it looks/sounds great. I took it for a spin, and it seems like the whole bike vibrates until i get to a higher rpm. I came from a D&D fatcat 2 into 1 system, and ive heard that duals r rougher (have more vibration) in the low rpm ranges. is this true or was someone feeding me a line? If its true, is there a cure? and if its false, any idea what the vibration could be? thanks for any advice in advance.

What bike are you running the exhaust on? I know my bike with the duals seem to vibrate quite a bit, especially at idle. I always thought it was about time for new motor mounts or something. Do you have a fuel management system like Power Commander? May be running a bit lean on the lower end.

09 street glide with a ness big sucker air cleaner and a power commander. but i havent had it remapped yet so maybe that could be contributing to it as well. i would hope an 09 wouldnt be needing new motor mounts yet tho..

Yeah, 09 is a bit newer then my '05. I would try the remap and see what you come up. Big difference in back pressure going from 2-1 to 2-2 duals. After you dial in the Power Commander, I bet you will notice a difference.
