407 & 408 front tires
Ihad the front tire replaced on the recall for scaloping edges last summer. the 407 was good for about the first 10000 miles then it started to vanish really fast on the edges. they 408 was put on but I still feel the stlight wiggle when you rurn slow as the water grooves hit the pavement. the one thing that is different is it wants to power wobble ocassionally and now I dont dare take my hands off the bars anymore. I checked bearing in wheel , loose axle, steering head play, column does the 3 turn thing as described in manual. no play in steering head. back tire is ready for a new one at 25000 mi any one have the same issues when the new 408 was installed. if I run the air in the back shocks at 50 it isnt as bad , I used to hit cruise and do my coat up once and a while but not any more. may when I get a new back tire it will go away. Will be getting the american elites on back will probably do front if this dont improve it.

Just for clarification, your bike has 25k miles or are you saying you got 25k miles out of a rear tire??

yep
the thing is getting pretty flat in the middle too. only has rain grooves on sides. Its probably about 4-5 thousand past were i should have changed it. dont want to ride in rain any more the wobble is worse since back tire has worn down
