A friend and I both have installed the HD LED driving lights on our FLHTK's. My friend noticed that on a hot day (90 degrees) he had significant condensation inside both lights. I have had a health problem preventing me from riding. Got out today and darned if I don't have the same issue with the lights. My friend is pursuing getting them replaced under warranty. The regional HD rep said that they have heard of "a few of these" having this issue. So far all 4 lights that I know about (his 2, my 2) have the problem. These things are too expensive to have this kind of issue. I'll update when / if we get resolution from HD.

I had the same issue. The earlier HD LED passing lamps were known for this problem. HD knows about the issue. Make sure the next set you get (your dealer should exchange them) have the "A" suffix after the stock number...these are the improved lamps.
I bought my led headlight and auxiliary lamps in January. Although the headlight is fine, the auxiliary lamps have a condensation problem. I'm now waiting to hear from the dealership about doing a warranty exchange for the newer "A" incarnation.
Thanks for the info. Was seriously considering these, now I know to make sure I get the "A" part number for both.
Not to hijack but for those of you who have them, I know they greatly improve night time visibility but are they also visible during the day so the cagers can see me? Heard complaints that daytime visibility was very poor, much worse than stock headlights. Thanks!

I have heard the same comments, but the people I have rode with comment about how bright the lights are during the day.
Good news, my dealer, Adventure Harley-Davidson in Ohio, is stepping up to the plate and replacing my led auxiliary lamps with the "A" version. Great shop to do business with, they treat their overseas Internet customers as well as those who walk in the door.
