When I bought the 06 I checked the front motor mount and it was the new style I also checked the injectors to see if I had 8 or 25 degree I have 25 degree. I checked out the radio a while ago and I need an upgrade the clock is slow I am running an old version 6.8 or 7.? I don't remember as of this writing.. I guess I need to ask the dealer to check this recall as I don't have any idea what to look for...
Rick
they don't send out notices for radio firmware updates...

Yep that's all you have to do.
I recieved a notice about the ignition/lock.
I guess there is not a notice mailed out for the motor mount.Guess just wait for it to go bad.
Does the switch recall effect all 06 flh bikes? I bought mine new last December and have not recieved anything either. I went to the NHTSA web site and it does not show a recall. Is it a TSB instead of a recall?
Check my prior post "E-Glide handlebar a$$ache" from a few weeks ago. I thought I was doing something wrong trying to get the damn switch back in, got advice from this forum, STILL couldn't get it, and finally dropped in to the dealer. As I was explaining everything to one guy, another says that there's a recall on that switch (06 EG) and to just bring it down and they'll take care of it real quick. Yup. Unfortunately, I couldn't ride it down there cause the switch was out and therefore would not be able to be started. They came and picked it up with their trailer and fixed it. But I thought the same thing about not getting notified. With e-mail and street adresses obtained by the dealers and the parent company, you'd think somehow I would've been given a heads-up. I went to some website re: recalls (can't remember which one) and it didn't mention anything about the ignition switch recall. Hopefully there's nothing else I should be aware of.
I know the injectors were not a recall, but they should have been.
They were handled with a service bulletin, that you had to bring to
your dealers attention.
Crap way of doing business.
Read the manual and get familiar with the Moco's website. They give you a way to check any recalls or maintenance bulletins on your bike. To save yall a little trouble, here is the link. https://www.harley-davidson.com/EX/M...bmLocale=en_US
