Default 96' to 103"

I have an 08 FLHTC and I am going from the 96" to the 103". I have developed some piston slap and I think it's time to up grade to the 103". My scoot has 90,000 KLM's and has been solid as a rock. What is the opion on the seat of the pants between the 96" vs the 103". We ride mostly two up and I am hoping that this upgrade will be exceptional and I am looking forward to the improved HP and Toque. Hoping to hearing from others who have had this done as I am curious as to the differance in preformance.

That is essentially the same kit that took my 88" to a 95" ( from the factory,) in 2000. Very reliable and faster than a Stage 1 96".

My bike has 92,000 MILES on it and still doesn't use any significant amount of oil between 5,000 mile services.

I'm very pleased with it.

Just going from 96 to 103 isn't going to do much. I doubt you'll notice any difference. Consider the SE Stage II upgrade. You'll notice a difference with that. And are you sure you got piston slap? That's really unusual.

I did my upgrade over 6000 miles ago. I now have almost 37,000 miles on my RK, and I swear by it. It really shines when riding 2 up, the difference was noticeable.
