I just installed a 21 inch rc components czar wheel that i picked up slightly used. the install went great but when i took it for a test run it seems like the abs aint working. i was going about 30 and crammed on the front brake to ck it and it didnt pulsate like it normally does did i do something wrong?
You may have to take it to the dealer to get the ABS computer hooked up and read by the scanalayzer and maybe reset. I have heard of similar issues before.
How hard did you get on the brake?
Was it hard enough to lock up the front wheel?
In order for ABS to kick in, it has to sense the wheel locking up or about to lock up.
If that didn't happen, then ABS isn't going to activate.
Under normal braking, you never know you have ABS brakes.
Also, since you went to a larger wheel how much difference is the total overall diameter from the stock wheel?
That will also make a difference in how the ABS computer works.
You might need to recalibrate the computer for the difference.
