Regarding your post and resetting the factory ECM using the instructions in the link below, will this also work with the stock TSSM #68924-007 or only with the 68920-97 TSSM without the security system? My bike has been down and disassembled since an accident in November 2014. I expected to have her back together in a few months but due to complications and my right, lower leg being amputated, I have not been able to put her back together until the last month or so. Now that it's time to start her again, I am running into this issue.
Something about turning the ignition on/off three times very quickly?
I have a 96ci road king and am having trouble getting my bike to start. I recently had my head re-done, after letting the bike sit a couple months, I changed the battery, the fuel pump, checked the wires, put test light to make sure everything is working. Its not getting any fire to kick the fuel pump on and im thinking the only thing left is the ECM. I will to put my ECM in equivalent bike and see what happens. I have a Thundermax and recently read how to reset the stock ECM. I was wondering if the same resetting method applies for the thundermax? Any advice tips or tricks will be appreciated
showing codes 5 flaahes 10 fast flashes then 5 more flashes and its still not running
Welcome. I see it's your first post. You might want to start a new thread describing your problem. Be sure to include the year and model of your bike. Also include any modifications to the bike. Mention any work that was done recently as that may be the cause of the problem.
Can this work for a 2018 softail , they said my warranty is voide if they plug my bike into the digital technician, even if I remapped it with my fp3 back to default, the ecm stores that info. I was told I would have to buy a new ecm and load the factory settings to get my bike where it can be warranties

I'm having a simular issue... I bought my bike used, done some things to it.. ot runs good.. drinks gas.. so i bought a tuner for it.. V/H FP3.. couldn't connect to the ecu, called V/H and they told me that my ECU is locked from a previous tune someone had done and then locked the ecu.. any short cuts around this issue?

If you plan on fixing this, getting great advice, and sticking around, then you should at least let somebody know what bike this even pertains to. And if you dont get realistic answers here its because you posted to a very old thread. Start a new one.
