Is it Rossmeyer's "destination H-D" in Daytona? -- No.
Is it a an excellent local H-D dealership with great people, great parts department and great service department? - ABSOLUTELY! One of Ohio's best kept secrets. Their online store typically has 20% discounts on parts and merchandise, but don't expect the discount at the dealership.
I bought my 2010 Street Glide from Hales. They are 51 miles from my house. I have two other dealers aprox 15 miles from my house and Hales will remain my dealer of choice.
They got a descent selection of clothes and jewelry. The store is not sterile like the new H-D warehouses that they have now. I like the place, been there a few times.
I wouldn't waste my time going there. They are the local dealer in my area. They have a few good people who work there, but the owner is an idiot. They have screwed to many people. I will go there for a part under $10. otherwise I drive to Upper Sandusky to Thiels Wheels. JMHHO.

We traded our 01 Ultra in 7/09 on a 09 Ultra. They gave me top dollar for my trade and gave me a great price on my Ultra. I had an issue with the rear tire (cosmetic) and service gave me the option of a new tire or run that one out and get 65% off a new one when the time comes. 13,000+ miles later and that tire is still there but will get replaced next year. I was in for an event 09/11 and checked with service and the note she put in the computer in 09 was still there and all I had to do was make an appt. and it would be dealt with. How fair is that? Some people have had issues with the place and the owner Lee, but for me they have always been friendly and helpful. Go there and see for yourself then make up your own mind.
