Although it's very comfortable, the stitching is pulling apart, and Harley won't do anything about it because it's past its 90-day warranty. I bought the seat in the Fall of 2010, rode for a while, then put it away for our Minnesota Winter. This Spring, I noticed the defect and took it in. I only had 5,000 miles on the seat.
Dealer took a picture, sent it to HD. HD said they weren't going to be able to help me. I spent a good amount of money for the seat and am very disappointed with the lack of customer service.
I sent mine to Mean City Cycles and they reshaped the pan and replaced the stock foam with hospital grade memory foam. It is cheaper than a new seat, retains the original look and their customer service is awesome. I went from hurting at 200 miles to be able to do 600 miles, no problem. Had a Sundowner on my Heritage and it was nice but not nearly as nice as the Mean City job on my RKC.
