give Ron's Roadies a call - off Olde Wadsworth in Arvada. He (Ron) is not a BS guy and will give you the straight stuff. Don't know where you made your purchase but seems like FM could also point you in the right direction if the seller can't - worth the call. ride safe and often

I purchased the PV from FM last February when I was living in Arizona. The map provided worked well but when we moved to Colorado the bike started pinging. FM sent a couple maps and the bike runs a lot better but I think the only way to really get it right is by getting it tuned.
Call Randy at Speedwrench. They are at 70th and washington. Just got done with my thundermax and did wonders. He is also a no BS guy.Nothing but 5 stars for him and his crew.
could be the tune but you might want to start with changing where you buy the gas. Lots of additives here in the fuel to reduce emissions that may be having an effect. I know mine seems to perform better with gas from Conoco or Shell - and maybe add Rocket Fuel from Cal-products - then a tune if your problem remains. Welcome to Colorado ! Ride safe and often.

There is a Conoco right by the house. I will have to give it a try on my next fill up...
Thanks for all the replies. I guess I will try the the gas route first since its the cheapest route. Also, where might I find rocket fuel from Cal-products?

you can purchase directly from them on the web cal-products.com or do a search on "Rocket Fuel octane enhancer." It will cure bad gas (for you bike not food intake!) - good idea to take it with you when you are on the road.
