Is it that the lowers & tour-pak are removable or are they gone to never be seen again?

I'll tell you, when I had my '05 EGC, I removed the tour-pak because I hated it, hated the looks of it, etc. Turns out, at the end of it all, I rode with it ON 95% of the time. Just sayin!
I spoke with the dealer and the tourpack and lowers are just gone I most likely would just get some engine guard chaps for the winter time riding. Thanks for the input

I'm siding with KCFLHTK, but either one of these are reasonably priced.....

Welcome to the world of Harley and good luck with whichever you select...

Welcome aboard. Go with the '09 like the other guys said. Revised frame, bigger rear tire, newer year so it is worth a tiny bit more. Mileage is virtually the same so that doesn't even matter. Same motor and trans so that doesn't matter. Both are excellent bikes, so it will ultimately come down to you. But if it were me, I'd do the '09. Good luck

Hey from AL.

09+ gets my vote for the frame improvements as well.

Just my opinion but for 17k you should be able to find a 09 that is not
missing the pak and lowers. Then you can remove and have them
around should you need it.

I know that doesnt seem important now but as another guy who first
went stripped down I now ride with pak on all the time. Just to convenient
to use for storage.

If you do any touring you will want it and it will cost about 2k to add that
stuff at a later date.

Best of luck on whatever you choose.
