Naaah, I'm not talking about the old lady. I got a 99 FLSTC that I've tweaked and tuned about as much as I want to. Also got a 2003 FLHTCUI (why 2 bikes? Can't afford 3) that I,ve also tinkered with and go it where I want. Should I sell both, and go for the 2007 FLHTC USMC Patriot Edition, , and buy a basket case to work on, or keep what I got, ad be happy. What's the current take on the 07's? A good motor company product, or should I wait a year or two, untill all the bugs are worked out, like the TC88?
I know opinions are like ********, but WTF? I can't decide......my mangina hurts.......
I have talked to a few that have the 07's. Your decision is based on what you want personally. Anyway, they love the new ride over the 03 that they had. For some, its about having the newest and latest.
They will sell plenty of the 96 motors and I wouldn't be afraid of it.....
I am liking my 02 Ultra so much that I am not motivated to trade up, even if I could afford it. Your's being an 03 you might like to just add the USMC derby cover and some fender medallions. 07's are new but don't look much different than yours and mine. I would just be happy with the status quo, but that's just me.[8D]
I was going back and forth between trading it or keeping my current bike. . .the more I research it I think it is usually cheaper and smarter to just upgrade the old one plus you don't lose all of your chrome and extras.
If some stealer was "giving" a 2007 away, then I would suggest a new scoot.
With all the things you have done and it rides so well, I'd wait for the 2008's.
Like my old man always said....Don't buy the first year of a model change!!!

If'n it was me, which it is not, I'd get the 07 and a basket case. If you are as handy as you say you are, you should be able to tweek your '07 to your hearts content.
Me myself I wouldn't trade my 04RoadKing for any other motorcycle. When my son grows up he will be able to tell his friends my dad has an old Harley Davidson and it has a Carburetor on it. The other kids will say whats a carburetor?
hey hangaround
me too
if you want i have a partner that just bought an 07 we have church on sunday and we will see how it runs i will get back to you and let yiu know how it runs "marine bike" thats hard to make a decision you know whatever its right
