Default Biketronics BT 1002 Problem...Please Help.

I had my handlebars changed and the hand controls won't work properly now. They work until I ride my bike and then when I stop the hand controls stop working. Then when I disconnected the battery and reconnect it the controls work again. Has anyone had this problem. I have checked the connections the best I could. The wires are internally wiried. Thanks for any help.

My setup is a Sony headunit, ARC mini amp and 6.5 inch Hertz speakers.

if this unit is for an alpine radio and it is an early version ie a,b,c,d you may have to return it for a new one as i had the same problem. The avc was not adjustable on the first unit and the same situation exsits with the current version. not happy at all with this......

On some of these units you can do a reset. Call the guys at Biketronics for instructions - They are very dedicated towards making their users satisfied.

Problem solved...had to replace the BT-1002 module. Biketronics was great working with me through my problem. Good to see a company stand behind their product.
