i installed a lowering kit for my 2011 streeglide
.dropping it only 1" and nnow im feeling a weird vibration when i twist hard on the throttle or hit bumps.i checked my air pressure in the shocks it was 0 P.S.I well ! i put about 20 lbs in the shocks i hope this fixes it.
anybody put these type lowering kits on? it has 4 holes
i have the tamarack lowers on my 10 ultra and they dropped it 1" also, i run 42lbs on mine and don't have any vibration, having no air in the shocks don't help it, just make sure you don't have a leak and check them often. mine seems to need a couple lbs. of air every 4 or 5 days.
I also have the tamarack kit,It changes the shock angle so the ride will be a lil different and yes the belt gets tighter. I run about 35 psi in mine ,but I notice when I hit a bump the wife bitches more when the kit is on the bike and more important I cant rip a wheelie with the kit on.
i looked into lowering kits when i got my 2008flhrc but found most or all would not work with the leatherwrapped bags. so i had the seat modifyed buy MeanCity Cycle , nose narrowed seat lowered 2.5 inchs .. with memory foam option .
