So my plan will expire in March 2016.

So far, I've had just over $1K worth of ESP work done including inner primary bearing, wheel bearings and misc electrical and stereo crap. PLus... peace of mind has some added value. Just too much crap to go wrong on these Ultras.

For me, the ESP was a good gamble.
so you bought the new bike ESP , 5+2 fac , the used bike pricing is if you buy 5yr that is what you get , in 2016 that is what you will be the price sheet you will be on

Funny thing my warranty expires May 23 2012 and I got the Extended Service Plan Expiration Notice in the mail today.
I called a little while ago and the numbers I got from the official HD warranty office in Carson City NV are higher than those posted.
What was posted about the 75K miles is correct, and they will not offer if the bike is 12 yrs old............but if you renew and have a current contract when you hit 75K or 12 yrs, your contract is valid until the expiration date

Anywho, the numbers I was quotes are:

1 yr.............854 plus 190 for wheel and tire
2 yr.............1149 plus 190 for wheel and tire
3 yr.............1379 plus 290 for wheel and tire
4 yr.............1769 plus 290 for wheel and tire
5 yr.............1999 plus 290 for wheel and tire

$50 deductible on service and zero deductible for wheel and tire

Just wish you #%&%@ would quit telling me how great those 09 and up frames are

I do CNA warranty repirs at my shop. For the most part, they are reasonable to deal with. I have had some minor issues with their procedures. For instance....oh, your inner fairing support brackets are broken, no problem those are covered. But, oh the speakers brackets are broken too?, no those aren't covered.....WTF?

Master cylinder gasket leaking and ruining the paint on your mastercylinder? We'll gladly replace it with the updated part. The cover that is. Oh, the paint is ruined on the mastercylinder as well? Um yeah....that's not covered....

You need to replace the valve guide seals and decarbon the valves and combustion chambers? No problem, but we aren't paying you to replace the cylinder base orings etc. You don't need to remove the cyls to do that. Ahhh, yeah but the o rings have been compromised now that the head bolts have been removed.

Them " Sorry....don't pay for that. Oh BTW what is your warranty on this repair?"
Me " Say what?" Lol

So I end up eating that part of the job just to make sure im satisfied that the job was done right.

I did a job about a month ago for a guy that has a 06 FLHX with 46,000 on it. Cam shoes wiped out. 103 in it with SECVO heads and 253 cams. They asked if it had motor work done, i said yes. Told them it had a 103 with cams. They paid for everything, sans the $50 deductible. Oil pump, cam plate, lifters, cams, front motor mount.....everything.... No problem.

YMMV.

Been reading most of this so I decided to call dealer where I bought mine. Purchase date, 12-8-2008. Bought 3yr extended warranty. Warrenty run out 12-8-2011. Your extended warranty cancels out your factory warranty because you can't have 2 warranties at the same time.
So if you buy a brand new bike you have 2yr factory warranty. If you purchase an extended warranty it cancels out your factory warranty. That is what the Manager at BR Harley Davidson told me over the phone. Sux because I thought I had 5yr warranty like alot of you on here.

My understanding is:

1 - Need to buy the factory extended warrantee before the original two years expire.

2 - The cost of the extended warrantee will be more than when it was offered to you at time of bike purchase.

Question, can the ESP be purchases from another dealer and still be honored at any dealer nationwide?
