That should take you thru most of the winter......then you'll be even More Crazy than having regular cabin fever.... to try it out ! I see trailering in your future, unless you live in one of those " it's only 60 degrees outside, I can't wait till winter is over States".
Holy crap, SpeakerFritz! What a list! Lucky SOB. I'm probably going to get a new Mustang solo seat and fender bib--and a heavy breather (dyno tune will have to wait til spring). That's about all I can manage. I'll just do the installs rrreeeaaalllll slow.
Im just squirreling away the parts over time so it won't be such a big dent all at once.
sold an extra bike and got a deposit on an extra car......so the below parts are getting ordered
f. Adjustable push rods. Purchase pending
g. Forged rocker bases. Purchase pending.
i. 30T and 68T sprockets. Purchase pending. Tools needed
j. dark horse crank work. Still pondering
k. stator fuse kit. purchase pending

m. Various bearings. Still doing R and R.
looks like 07's and later already have hi flow pumps so the only work here might be some kind of sump intake screen.
h. Billet cam with hi-flow oil pump. Still pondering
L. Ordered a set of drain plugs with beefed up magnets .
I dont know if i am lucky or crazy but i took possession
of my bike in 07 and by 08 sometime after the settelment
I got all my mods done so this winter I'll just keep making
bike payments and will continue till march or april 2014
I've been putting together parts all summer for a 107 build. I spread it out over several months so it wouldn't be too big of a hit, and I could also keep my eye out for bargains.
1) Jugs and pistons. Jugs were used, seasoned jugs bored and honed to match the new forged CP pistons.
2) New heads. Brand new 06 castings, ported and polished, machined for ACRs, performance valve job, SE beehive springs, milled for 85cc chambers.
3) New cams
4) New HQ Black Ops lifters
5) New Smith Brothers adjustable pushrods
6) all required gaskets
7) SERT (to be converted to tts.)
8) VPC clutch kit and Barnett clutch spring
9) Tri-Glide 30t trans pulley
10) Yaffe monkeybars. New clutch perch and front master cylinder.
11) CVO style running lights. Still need to acquire the street glide style bullet turn signals needed to do the job.
I think that's about it. Shopping for bargains has kept the overall cost of all the parts will under 2K, not counting the monkey bars. I won't wait until winter to do the build, I'd rather get it on the road while I can still ride so I can start the tuning process.
