SWAT Brand for me mostly. Lace up the front to comfort level and there is a zipper on the inboard side for quick on and off. They are quite waterproof and have air and gel soles. Very light but also good and sturdy. Actually bought them at a rally a couple of years ago and have seen them in a few retail sites. Got the wife a set a year later and she loves them too.
I will occasionally wear a remaining set of HD boots I have and my Red Wing Irish Sitters.
I've bought my last pair of made NOT in America HD boots. Last ones were a pair of zip up the side. It is my daily rider boot now that I had the cheap a$$ soles replaced. I keep my H&H boots for winter riding with the Gerbings foot liner.
Wesco 11" Boss. Kinda spendy but a damn nice boot. The pair I have now, I've been wearing for a little over seven years. I had the heels replaced once, but other than that they are still in great shape.
I have 2 pairs of HD boots and a pair of Danners lace up. I tend to wear my cheap 6" waterproof lace up Sketchers ($49) because they are the most comfortable. Go Figure!
