I bought these two years ago when another pair of my expensive Chinese made Harley boots fell apart at the seams yet again. I've worn these every day, Winter in the snow, (No they are not 100% winter snow water proof), spring, summer and fall for a little over two years now and they are still in great shape, even the soles. I like these also, because I have a wide foot and they have extra wide sizes. Comfortable from the first time you put them on.....and Drum Roll....$79.00! They also will polish up nice for that spur of the moment formal event....ask me how I know?
Most "motorcycle riding" boots I've seen are cheaply made, uncomfortable and ugly as sin. My boots are for wearing on the tractor & in mud, walking in the snow and rain and riding. I wore Vasque Sundowners for 20 years until the soles finally wore out. I went to buy a new pair and found out they're made in China or somewhere now. They look the same, but they feel completely different. I ended up buying a pair of Asolo Gore-Tex backpacking boots that so far seem pretty good.
Would like to hear what boots you are wearing. I had a pair of Cruiserworks waterproof "classic" boots but with hardly any wear at all, the sole cracked and the original owners (Jay & Cara) claimed bankruptcy so I'm screwed.
I have an old pair of Harley harness boots but they are heavy and uncomfortable. I've recently considered buying a pair of Harley's "Renzo" boot.
Any opinions?
