We've used several SE 203 cams in an 88" engine, which offer big low end torque gains and then after 3500, she's all done. I am more of a fan of SE 204 Cams and have used them in two of my dad's FLHTC's. They start pulling at around 2500 and stay strong until around 4000 rpms. As DJL said, you're going to need to be sure you have a power commander not a fuel pack (you said you had a power pack). If you have a fuel pack, now would be a great time to change to a Race Tuner, but that's a whole different section of this forum.
SE255's will not work and I would absolutely not go to gear drive cams. I would change to the new billet cam support plate and change your cam chain tensioners to the upgraded hydraulic version while you're in there.
"SE 203 cams in an 88" engine, which offer big low end torque gains and then after 3500, she's all done" Does this mean it falls off after 3500?
Cant get the scanner to work, sorry about the sorry chart. This is an 06 88ci with SE203s before Rinehart TDs and final tune. Ended up 84hp 92tq. Cant put my hands on the last chart right now. As you can see they dont "drop off" much. A 103 bagger with stage one looses every time! Add cams and the 103 smokes my ***!

The 203 Cam (as your charts show) is a very low end cam. Like I said, after 3500, she's all done. Of course it will continue to build horsepower as the rpm's increase, like any engine. The 203's move the torque curve to an extremely low rpm, leaving very little "feel it in the seat of my pants". The 204's are more of a mid-range camshaft...and in my personal and business related experiences are my preference.
The SE 204s are what i wanted to install but the "master technician" at the dealership said they weren't the right choice for an otherwise stock engine. At the time I didnt know enough to argue with him. (dont know much more now) I like to hang out in the upper rpms so maybe i should change. My other bike has SE257s and they keep you busy changing gears but they will rip when you need to. Lookin for a SE204 chart.
