Default Head Light Mod

I have used the search tool but cant find my answer so i was gonna throw this out there and see what i find out.

I just installed the HID light on my 10sg from ddm tuning, i installed this same light on my 09 vrscf but did a mod where i put an inline splice on two wires and it enabled hi+lo to be ran at the same time but only low by itself
i always turn my brights off when passing cars but when driving at night on Kentucky backroads every bit of light helps.

Thanks for any help

I'm not sure what kind of HID unit you have, but as I understand they do not really have a separate lights for the Hi beam/low beam.
There is actually a short start up time needed to reach full strength, so that would be counter productive when traveling at high way speeds to switch lights.

How the hi/low thing works is, the bulb slides in/out to change the beam focus.

the last setup i had had 2 bulbs and that worked great because the low was always running so when u flipped to high beam the low was already running at full power
but on this new setup your right there is one bulb for both hi/lo
