I washed my bike and did a full detail job, I accidently got my heavy breather wet and started engine thinking it wouldnt be a problem. Anyways the bike started and I went down the road and it shut off. When I start it now its revs fast and shuts off in like 2 seconds. Please help do i need a dealer or is this a easy fix. Its a 2011 103 streetglide

Try an ignition reset
LEAVE THE CUT-OFF SWITCH (ON THE RIGHT SIDE HANDLEBAR) IN THE ON POSITION AND TURN THE MAIN KEY SWITCH TO THE ON POSITION. WAIT UNTIL THE LIGHT GOES OFF. TURN MAIN KEY SWITCH OFF FOR 5 TO 9 SECONDS, THEN TURN MAIN KEY SWITCH BACK ON AND GO THROUGH THIS PROCESS FOUR TIMES.
THE FIFTH TIME GO AHEAD AND START THE MOTORCYCLE BUT DO NOT TOUCH THE THROTTLE WHEN STARTING.
washing the bike is a great time to look for loose bolts, wires etc.
but cover the intake and exhaust with plastic bags- you can windex those later.
pressure washers can be a problem around wheel bearings and anything electrical.--- I saw a guy peel the paint off the hood of his car with one!
what ever is wet, while hopefully soon dry out and you'll be back up and running--- look at the electrical block under the left cover, and under the seat if you have a piggyback tuner
