Advice and Tips
Hello Members,
I am going to change my stock FLHX bars with 13" Santee Bars. If anyone here has done this and can give me tips please feel free..
So far I have the bars, clutch cable, Brake line and TBW extension.
I did this on my 05 Deluxe with 16" apes.
There were no radio controls or cruise control..
Any TIPS any extension cables out there to make the electrical part easy..

If you don't have manual it'll be harder.
most important thing is to shim the front brake light switch so it doesn't break- any manual the last 20 years will show this.
2.) pinched wires result in many problems posted here- they may not show up the first day--- so careful on that
3.) make sure clutch cable slack on left turn can't hang up and keep your bars from straightening up again
4.) wire extensions require crimp connections, not solder.
