For brake calipers you can't go wrong with either PM or HHI. Fit and finish is great on both and similar braking performance. We have sold a lot of the American suspension legs and they look awesome on the bikes. Quality is inconsistent though and sometimes we have had to shave off some of the stock brake calipers to get proper clearance which is not going to work if you have chrome calipers. I have no experience with the Ness legs so hopefully someone else could chime in on those.
no bottoming at all with my 2" lowered monos. i've tried to get the fender to hit and it wont. ive tested it - braked hard, hit bumps, etc and i had no issues
I wouldnt go Hawg Halters. Stick with PM or chrome brembos

american susp lowers - pm 6 piston - front air ride - 26" wheel - no complaints.
had the ness lowers before i went 26 and no issues - was told they didnt recommend those with the single caliper/larger wheel cause there was a case of it pulling the theads outa lower where the brake mounts -they use small screws.
