Exclamation engine noise

Hello all
Posted here about a week ago my 00 stock RK with 47,000 miles on it is making some engine noise.
Pulled the cam cover off the tensioners are fine, put a oil psi gauge on it tonight 35 psi cold.
Shut it off cause the noise sounds like metal on metal and a loping sound.
Any ideas!!
Thanks

you can try to isolate the cause by using a rod ( or long screwdriver) to your ear and connecting to parts of the motor.
( and it's the motor, not the primary chain?)

but this is probably a job for a pro

had a noise in my 09 @ 41000 sounded like cams, turned out it was the racer spining in lower end... harley replaced cams, primary chain, all kinds of parts finaly tore down bottom end and found it.... thank God it was under warranty !!!!! ended up putting a new engine on it, instead of rebuilding it...
