I understand your frustration with misinformation out there. My bike has a Screaming Eagle stage 1 air cleaner (K&N), stock headers, and basic download map for EFI. From what I understand I should be good if I switch to the M-119's as they are just slip-ons. I could be overly cautious, but for the amount of money that slip-ons run I want to make sure my investment is going to last a long time.
If you want to be extra careful get some sort of tuner to replace the download that you have on the bike. Just my .02. The dealer downlaod still has to be EPA legal which really limits it's ability to help the engine run properly and cooler.
