Sounds like you offered them what you felt was a fair price. Let them call you back or just find another bike, there is no shortage of used bikes this time of the year.

when buying a used bike at a dealer, out loud talk about what you don't like about the bike, never let a dealer know that a used bike he has is wowing you. The bells and whisltes you are listing has no bearing on book trade in or dealer sell value. Dealer is making at least 3K on the bike or he wouldn't have taking it in trade. wait it out and his price should drop.

I really like the idea of a newer bike like the 2007 that was mentioned. I'd like the 103 and ABS might be nice but I've read the police abs isn't as good as on the reg bikes. I really want a bike to tinker with as I'm keeping my Road Glide. I think I'm going to wait and see if anything pops up after its cold and snowy. that way I can mod it the way I see fit.
