Hey guys.. I'm 33, and just picked up the "Old Fart Bike" as my wife likes to call it.. I love the Electra Glide series! What a ride.. Had a Yamaha Virago for years.. Never knew I could ride over an hour without a break!!!
As for what I bought.. I got a 1994 Ultra.. It's been modified just the way I like it.. No tour pack, and good chrome! Anyway!! Good luck on the EG!

P.S. Sorry for the edit!! And I have had GREY in my beard and hair since I was 27!!!
48 with a 05 FLHTi, some grey but no beard.
Hands down the best scout I have ever rode. Will never look back, except to see my riding
buddies getting blown off there rides at 80 that is !! [sm=icon_cheers.gif]
Tell her to look at what most high end 1% (IE: HA, VAGOS, ETC) groups ride, you guessed it, bagers! I watched a whole group of Vagos pull into a HD shop over Lauflin weekend, all riding Electra Glides.
44 and ride a 2001 Ultra. Bought a 1984 GL1200 Goldwing when I was 35, and owned a 1976 GL1000 when I was 18, The 1000 was before bags were on Wings, but I put on the Vetters.
I also own a DT250 Yamaha, and at my age I'm the old guy.
Who cares, behind my eyes I'm 18, and the Ultra still makes me feel that way after a 500 mile day!
I has a sportster when I was 38. Got a Tour Glide when I was 39. I'm 54 and I have a 2005 Electra Glide Classic. The Glides have always been more practical for me when going on long extended trips with my wife. She would never go otherwise.
I've already said I am 42 and I ride a FLHTCI but I forgot to say I sold my WideGlide to a 62 year young man with a gray beard so go figure. It was wild to see him ride away on my old ride.
53 grey hair....grey mustach......oh yea terry, you dont have a beard.....come to think of it you dont have no hair LT. DAN if you did im sure it would be grey.....!
I'm 37 and ride a 2005 FLHTCI (Electra Glide Classic) and LOVE it. I've heard about it being called a Geezer Glide...lol, but I'm far from that side of the barn. It seems to be less than the norm to be under 45 and own a Glide. But i can say this; I get alot of compliments about the bike from little kids to sportbike riders. The kids just love it, in part because around here, they're used to seeing rice rockets.
