I'm 42, would have a gray beard if the AF would let me grow one, and just moved form an FXST to an FLHTC. I loved everything about my softail but the lack of storage--even with the bags I put on it. I can ride the bagger on days when I need to pick up dry cleaning or groceries.
The other day one of the 24-yo Lts in the squadorn told me I looked old on "that bike." I told her I didn't have to impress girls her age anymore.
That is such BS. I get the geezer glide tag all the time. I don't sweat it and I am only 41. I have a buddy I ride with that is 23 and rides a fireman's edition EG. He says all the girls that ride with him absolutely love his bike. I think the stereo type comes from comparing the big HD's to the Gold Wing riders and yea those guys are mostly older fellers![sm=joke.gif]
